Tip of the Day

I love to find these old flower frogs at swap meets and use them to hold my watercolor brushes.

The brushes stand up straight and the bristles are dry perfectly.  I always keep the brushes I am using on a project right in front of me standing up in one of these.

Tip of the Day! Traveling with Ink

 

 

 

I love to take my fountain sketch pens with me when I travel but am always afraid I will run out of ink! What is a girl to do when she has to pack a bottle of WATERPROOF ink in with her clothes?

 

Well, I came up with a pretty good method if I do say so myself ;)

 

 

 

You will need:

A double insulated plastic cup with a tight fitting lid - this is a tervis one

paper towels

ziploc bag

 

 

 

1. I put my ink in its box
2. wrap the box in paper towels
3. put the whole thing in a ziploc bag
4. put that in the cup which should fit in snuggly
5. cap it
6. put it in my suitcase ;)
