My latest obsession has been making these crocheted fingerless gloves which just so happen to be great for journaling in cold weather AND it just so happens that Tuesday I head out to meet my dear friend LK to go to Journalfest for the week! These should come in rather handy ;)
I promised I would show you the book I made in LK's class - so here it is - mind you not finished yet and actually I can't wait to have some time to work in it. Once again if you get a chance - take a class with her - she is wonderful! and a GREAT TEACHER - being an educator myself I can see that in others and really appreciate it - for me teaching is an innate gift - some have it some don't - she has the goods! And speaking of which she is coming to Carol Park's Studio in August.

Carol has created an environment that is warm, inviting and inspiring - she has so many wonderful artists coming to teach this year and LK will be coming back this summer.
This weekend I am lucky to be taking a two day workshop with LK Ludwig at my friend Carol Park's home. I have met LK before and knew of her work but had never actually taken a class with her. Let me say this - if you get the opportunity - take it - she is lovely, articulate, kind, intelligent and soulful. Her new book describes many of the techniques she taught us today and it is a great resource.
