This is where I like to sit in the evenings and work on my watercolor sketches - its my little corner of the world - my safe spot - where I relax ( Yes, I have a painting studio and it is very nice but this is my nest)
Its in the corner of my bedroom and it is quiet - well as quiet as it can be with two nitro filled boys ;)
It's where I can do this ...
Now if I can only figure out how to get a fireplace in here it would be perfect!

I have been enchanted by the beauty and allure of watercolors. There will be much more to come in this department ;)
If you are anything like me you often forget what paint colors you own - go out to the store buy them and then realize you already have the same color at home ;)
So I made this little chart and am sending this to my iphone so that I have the photo as a reference when I undoubtedly go to purchase more.
Now, if I can only remember to look at it ;)

Today Judi and I took a Fantastic class at Orly Avineri's - what a wonderful teacher and what a lovely class. I had so much fun! We created a little nest of a journal out of a boring old check register - and this is what I ended up with!
