Tip of the Day! Traveling with Ink

 

 

 

I love to take my fountain sketch pens with me when I travel but am always afraid I will run out of ink! What is a girl to do when she has to pack a bottle of WATERPROOF ink in with her clothes?

 

Well, I came up with a pretty good method if I do say so myself ;)

 

 

 

You will need:

A double insulated plastic cup with a tight fitting lid - this is a tervis one

paper towels

ziploc bag

 

 

 

1. I put my ink in its box
2. wrap the box in paper towels
3. put the whole thing in a ziploc bag
4. put that in the cup which should fit in snuggly
5. cap it
6. put it in my suitcase ;)

Castle in the Air

Lucky me I went on a much needed trip this past weekend to see my best friend of 35 yrs

and got to go on an adventure to Castle in the Air - a most magical place!

Take a little tour .... 

 

They also had this showing of Book Sculptures in their upstairs gallary.

 And I scored this little baby!  It had my name written all over it!

 

 

We ended the day at an awesome restaurant Zut! across the street - super yummy and great atmosphere - reminded me of a french bistro.
