I am having para, during, present Menopausal symptoms - and yes I am young, 43, but so was my mom and it has kind of invaded my body
I feel befuddled
Kind of out there - lost - transitional - contemplative
Just like a scittery rabbit in a warren.
I am just sayin ...
Ok, It's not like I needed something new to do but ... Thanks to Miss Pam- as in Garrison - I started these embroidery samplers and honestly I just can't put them down! They are great to take in the car while waiting to pick up my boys, sitting at the beach or on the deck and in bed watching tv.
I found this gem the other day at one of my favorite Antique haunts. It is copper and has a nice neat litte lid and pen rest.
but even better is that it had the ink well still in it and it has a slide closer so I can leave this out on my journaling desk. Also found to vintage dip pens to go along.
It is the small things that bring me great joy such as these ;)
This is today's journal page! Do I really need to say any more - this is how I have been feeling this week. Like a cranky hen on fire. Well, I need to STOP PECKING and move forward. Amazing how working in my art journal is so cathartic and cleansing. Hopefully tomorrow's page will be a litter sweeter ;)

I hosted Miss Pam Garrison at Artinfusio this weekend and what a fabulous one it was!! Everyone had a great time. It was beautiful two days filled with lots of excitment and creativity. Pam is a wonderful teacher with a huge and generous spirit! She shared tons of her techniques and supplies. It was a wonderful weekend and I can't wait to have her back!
Luckily, she will be returning along with her pal Amy Hanna for Artinfusio's Holiday Soiree!!
