This is where I like to sit in the evenings and work on my watercolor sketches - its my little corner of the world - my safe spot - where I relax ( Yes, I have a painting studio and it is very nice but this is my nest)
Its in the corner of my bedroom and it is quiet - well as quiet as it can be with two nitro filled boys ;)

spend a weekend finding your heart in the nature of the sea. Walk along the private beaches of Malibu taking photographs with guidance from a veteran photographer and artist. Then learn how to artfully alter and journal using these images.
Two days of photography, hand-altering photographs and building luscious journal pages.
we'll make a slim journal of hand-painted paper, talk about the building blocks of a good photograph, build our creativity and vision with some ideas about ways of seeing, shoot some gorgeous images, learn some intriguing ways of hand-altering photos, that we'll work into pages. I'll provide a zine of inspiration and a website with video recaps of the techniques covered in class, the paper for your journal, waxed linen thread, paper for printing, practice images, and supplies and tools for use during class.
Kit fee $30.
Supplies:
camera
5 tubes of acrylic paint
apron
colored pencils
watersoluble crayons/pencils/watercolors
favorite gel pens/copics/brush pens
glue stick
scraps/collage bits/
favorite journaling supplies
Images (I will send you more information on this as we near our date.)
optional but recommended: laptop for downloading photos, cords for connecting camera to laptop, small or portable printer.
You will be able to purchase prints to use in class should you not have a printer small enough to bring.
