This is where I have been - yes believe it or not just six weeks after my husband's back surgery I returned to the same hospital Wed morning via a lovely ambulance ride and me screaming like a banshee and a sailor combined. I had a lovely appendectomy and a plethora of pain meds and am now home and recovering. What's up with that? Ah well surgery went well and I am mending - guess that's what it takes to slow me down - geesh!

Oy!! That is a heck of a way to get some down time Gina! Take good care of yourself. Sounds like you gave those ambulance drivers a ride to the hospital they will never forget! Get some good rest.

Pretty scary thing to happen. Glad to hear you are recovering at home now (the only place that is comfy). Wishing you and your husband speedy recoveries.
