I put my art supplies in old tins.  And although I love the way they look and feel I often forget whats in them.  So I used my handy dandy label maker and added some much needed identification!  Now I have cool and functional ;)

Our Light - Horse Journal Pages

I have been working on Juliana's Altered States class and got a little bit - well, chomping at the bit, pun intended, so I started a few journal pages in my horse journal yesterday.

Richard B. paid me a visit ....

Yes, Mr. Blick came to my door yesterday to my delight! 

Here is a peek ...

New Golden OPEN acrylic paints ~ supposed to have a longer drying time so you can go back and rework them.  Can't wait to try them out.  Anyone used them - comments? And two new BIG wash brushes.

 

Circle templates and a new exacto and small cutting mat.

New 'DARK' pan pastels and the new handy dandy tray.

Oh and canvases for new upcoming classes, and paper, etc.

Altered States ~ Book Cover

Worked on my Book Cover for my Horse Journal today ...

for my Altered States class ...

Altered States

I started Juliana's online class today Altered States.  So I thought I would show a few pics of what I did ....

First I downloaded and printed out her booklet - which is a work of art all to its own.  So I folded the pages in half and then stapled them on the open side all together.

Then I used some fabric washi tape and bound the side

So now I have this cool little booklet - eventually I plan to put them altogether.

So then I started 2 books for the class -

An everyday type of Journal ~

 

and one on horses (go figure) ...

If you haven't been blessed to take a class with Juliana Coles now you have the chance - she has just opened her first online class.  I can tell you first hand that once you take a class with Jules you will never be the same.  I am lucky to say I have taken many classes from her and am fortunate to also call her my dear friend.  Even though I have taken many a class I did not hesitate to sign right up for this one.  She can get more out of anyone than is humanly possible - I actually think she is some kind of high priestess of sorts ;)   So check it out, actually, run and sign up - you won't regret it!
