I have been making Italian Christmas cookies - my father's Sicilian recipe. These yummies are our favorite - made with anise - they are delightful. Good thing I only make them this time of year otherwise I would look like Santa.

I don't suppose you ever SHARE that recipe??? I love the flavor of anise and when I was inspired to bake Christmas cookies myself last week I found cookie molds in my cellar that look just like this shape...hmm - maybe for Valentine's.... great photo!!

Hi!
Would you be willing to share the recipe? My boyfriend's Sicilian grandmother recently died and he was telling me about these cookies that she made. I would love to make them for him seeing as no one else in his family has the recipe (His grams made them from memory). I would greatly appreciate it!
