Valentine Project #2 - Clothspin Clips
These little cuties can be used to hold together papers or put a magnet on the back. I think they are fun and easy to make and are a nice little gift.
- start out by selecting some pretty papers and fun embellishments
- trace clothespins on the back of paper
- cut out strips using pinking shears
- adhere and top coat with matte medium
- use distress ink and hit edges for a vintage look
- use a sponge brush to smear and rub in
- glue on embellishments with hot glue
- use charms, brads, buttons, stickers
- use snips to take off the shank of buttons and back of brads so they lay flat
Voila!
This is a great gift.We tack notes on the frig about vet appointments. Think I will make some with magnets.Love yours. Can't wait to see what else you come up with.
Your music makes me feel happy.
