Mothering Sunday

I am a good mother I can say it and actually believe it ... we all doubt that don't we.  Well, this weekend was a fabulous mother's day.  Friday night was date night with Mark and a wonderful dinner.  Sat. was baseball games and the boys got me gifts and took me out to dinner at one of our favorites Guidos.  My actual Mothering Sunday was spent with my own Mom going to see the Opera Porgy and Bess (it was fabulous) and lunch at the Brasserie.  The night ended with the boys at our favorite sushi bar - yes I did eat my way through the entire weekend - serious working out needed this week and only bread and water for me ... who am I kidding - working out for sure but a girl needs to eat!  That darling husband of mine gave me this beyond wonderful new  Sony camera - I luvvvvvv it- and to make it even more special it is ROBIN'S EGG BLUE!  You  would have thought  I had just gotten a huge diamond ring or something  (not that that would be what I would want  mind you) but the gasp and ohs and ahs over  my lovely little blue bird  (yes I did name the camera) and wouldn't let any one touch it.  Oh Joy - Joy - Joy!  Hope yours was filled as well.
