I really love all this Sweetness in the Air - so many bloggers giving away free things in a fun drawing (Pam and Maija did one) so the spirit has spread and I feel like spreading some Joy too! So a post a comment and I will add your name to my little basket and pick a winner by the end of the week! (I will email you if you win to get your shipping info) What do you get? A valentine bag filled with stuff - pink stuff, emphemera stuff, embellishment stuff - lots of fun stuff!)
Pink self portrait number three - I am practicing courage and humility here - I take these pics first thing in the morning no hair brushing, washing face or anything - just the bare, real, raw me -exploring who I really am.
I made this banner for a valentine's swap I'm in - thought it would be fun to get in the mail.
I am in my bird phase - love birds and nests ( i must say that it really is disconcerting when you have always loved something and then it becomes popular and everyone else loves it too you kind of feel like a poser - oh well) I did this journal piece last night and this assemblage box yesterday.
I am pretty happy with the way it turned out - now I just have to find a place for it.
*** I have NO IDEA WHY EVERYTHING is underlined in this post- some weird blog thing going on!***
I love the "raw" you! It turned out great! My self-portrait page for the journal is done in a similar fashion, felt very liberating. Me being me! The Valentine banner is yummy! How big are the pieces? What a great swap to be a part of!

I just caught the image of the bird as the head on the woman on the horse! Great perspective, great piece!

Saw your book arts self portrait sample at Paper Post and wanted to check out your site. Hopefully my schedule will work with your class. I was in another class with you and was so amazed at the speed with which you worked.

who doesn't love a chance to win some stuff! Pink is not a color I normally get for myself so it would be cool to win some. Thanks for giving us all a little something to look forward to this week! Ilona

PB,
Working at a public policy think tank, I crack up that I visit your blog almost daily. Of course, being your friend for almost 30 years doesn't hurt either. I am very proud and impressed with the creative mediums that you use to express yourself. Of course, none of this suprises me b/c I think you are such a gifted person in many of life's arenas. Oh, and enter me in your V-day drawing too!
XO, Jelly
