christmas in the air

The Christmas season has officially begun in the Armfield home!  We took down all the stuff from the attic on Sat. and the boys insisted on decorating the tree IMMEDIATELY!   so we had a beautifully decorated tree and the rest of the house looks like a xmas bomb hit it.  But I am taking it slow and trying to enjoy decorating instead of just rushing through and getting it all done at once.  Today I did the christmas garden and one mantel and the front entry way. (pics to follow soon) and am going to work on the rest this week.  The boys are so excited about the holidays that it is infectious and really I don'ty need much help there for it is my favorite holiday - Grayson told me that I was "Miss Christmas" the other day and I took it as the highest compliment.  I worked on a little festive art - some Noel letter that I will turn into something and some bottlecap pins.
