I love going to Japanese bookstores and getting there stuff because the sayings translated to English just bring me such joy and a chuckle at that. "Lovely Treasure - we wish to express our gratitude to people who spent the same time" And I suppose that is the purpose if you will of my new blog - A Joyful Purpose! I want to look at the world and my life each day with a "joyful purpose" easier said than done I know - but if I am going to find meaning in my art and life and think it needs to be so. And I want to connect with others who feel the same way ... and maybe we can just help each other out - is joy contagious? I hope so.
