The Botanical Journal
If you love plants and the wonders of nature then this workshop is for you. Using the influences of vintage botanical prints we will create a journal dedicated to the world of Botany in all its forms. This is a mixed media course where we will explore pen and ink, marker, watercolor, collage, pastel and more!
WHAT IT INCLUDES:
Each week you will receive video lessons, an assignment, image resources and links.
You will also have access to a private Facebook Group where you will be part of a community, be able to ask questions, and share your work.
You can submit your work for a private critque by me via email and get personal feedback.

WEEK 1: Materials and Resources
WEEK 2: Dissection ~ not literally but we will closely examine the the details of botanicals
WEEK 3: Color ~ we will explore the world of color in plants
WEEK 4: The Botanical Print Part 1 ~ we will experiment with different mixed media techniques to create our own Botanical Prints
WEEK 5: The Botanical Print Part 2~ we will use watercolor and pen and ink to create our own Botanical Prints
