Christina Altfeld ~ amazing print maker and photographer
Day two forthcoming ....
I have been starting out my mornings drawing Paint Puddle people and uh - pups, peeps and ponies and find that it is a relaxing way to start my day - sort of like the thoughts pour from my head and out through my pen onto the paper - like a drain
I started by just puddling watercolors in a small journal (and yes it would be better if I let them dry before turning the page to paint another - hence the speckles)
Last night when it was quiet I opened up and started searching and drawing with my Pitt pens.
Interesting .... verrrry interesting
There are 2 spots left for this weekend's workshop
We will then be throwing color and caution to the wind while we splatter paint and dyes to create luscious papers.
Lunch on the deck to chat and breathe in the salt air.
We will edit photographs and learn techniques on photoshop, iphoto, and photobooth and print them out.
We will construct a journal with our papers and photographs while we learn painting, pencil and pen skills to integrate a photos into the pages.
We will be exploring our creative voices, sharing poems, our passions and our selves.
